Do you mount new tires onto rims?
No. Roadside tire service means installing your existing inflated spare onto the vehicle. Mounting or dismounting a tire from the rim requires shop equipment we do not carry on the truck. If you have a loose tire that needs mounting, or no usable spare at all, the right move is a tow to a tire shop, which we can do in the same visit.
Can I drive on a donut spare to Omaha?
Compact spares are rated for roughly 50 miles at 50 mph, so a run from Bellevue into Omaha is fine, but treat it as a trip to the tire shop, not a regular tire. Avoid I-80 speeds, skip heavy loads, and get the full-size tire repaired or replaced within a day or two. If your spare is flat or dry-rotted, tell us when you call and we will plan a tow instead.
